MERRY PATTERNS #2 - STAMPIN' UP! ARTISAN BLOG HOP

Welcome to the Stampin' Up! Artisan blog hop.  You have probably just arrived from Miriam van Eyden's beautiful blog.  I just love everything Miriam makes!  If you are just starting here, hit the "Next" button at the end of this post to continue on the hop.  You won't want to miss a thing!
The Merry Patterns Stamp set is an exclusive set for Hostess until the end of October!  When you host a Stampin' Up! party during the month with sales of $500 or more, you will receive this stamp set for free!  The Artisan Design team have been busy behind the scenes designing up a storm of inspiration for you for this second hop! If you missed the first, you can see it HERE.

I had fun with the candle stamp in this set!  They are quite short candles and I thought it would be fun to make them appear longer.  I first cut my front panel in two.  I stamped the candles across the top of one and the bottom of the other, making sure they lined up.  I then lay them on my Crumb Cake card base so I could see where I needed to stamp my sentiment.

I added pine boughs across the top and sponged in a little Garden Green ink to create depth before adhering the top and bottom panels with Dimensionals.

A matching gift bag is a nice way to complete a gift and I have used the Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper and fabulous Jute Twine to make it.  The Jute twine makes great sturdy handles!

Head over to Rochelle Bloks blog to see what she has in store for you this time!
